Valiant Bridge is committed to accessible sex education for all ages.
A few of the courses include contemporary sex education for youth, contemporary sex education for adult learners, intimacy in the face of cancer and/or chronic illness, and porn literacy.
Research shows that the best way to protect minors is by equipping them with context and keeping the lines of communication open between them and the adults they can trust.
Empowering adults and children to communicate is the key to developing a healthy and positive relationship with sex, boundaries, and media consumption.
We offer courses for parents, guardians, and mandated reporters that foster healthy communication and focus on providing context rather than instilling fear or promoting abstinence. Inclusivity is vital in our work, and each curriculum is passed through advisors and focus groups prior to reaching you to ensure that our language and intentions are inviting and supportive of -everyone-.
Who is behind Valiant Bridge?
Samantha Witness (she/her)
Founder
Samantha is a sexuality educator who originally founded Valiant Bridge to help families mitigate the risks of child grooming, an experience that she personally survived during her adolescence (ages 15-16). Alongside her role as a graduate student at Capella University, Samantha is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the state of Washington.
A note from Samantha
In addition to my passion for sex education and child safety, I am deeply passionate about making that information accessible.
A certified sexuality educator often charges between $100-2000 for a 1-2 hour course. As someone whose parents could not afford that kind of information when I needed it most, I strive to make these courses as affordable as possible.
